Last year at GroundsFest, the BALI Chalk Fund team hosted the first College Forum. A meeting of course heads, tutors and training providers of land-based courses across the UK, the College Forum marked a really useful step towards better collaboration, idea-sharing and established a community and forum to discuss the curriculum, skills, recruitment and issues effecting academic and vocational training across the sector.

Capitalising on that momentum, the BALI Chalk Fund will be hosting a second College Forum on Wednesday 11 March 2026. An online event, the Forum is expected to be attended by any course leader or tutor of any land-based course (Landscape, Horticulture, Garden Design) and the ensuing discussions will be encouraged and guided by BALI Chalk Trustees Chair, Nick Coslett.
Invitations have been sent to all college contacts across the UK, but if you have not yet received any details, please contact Lynn Hunter, BALI Chalk Communications Support for full details.
